Age Requirement
In accordance with Swedish law — specifically the Act on Tobacco-Free Nicotine Products (2022:1257) — nicotine pouches may only be sold to persons who are 18 years of age or older. ShopSnus.se strictly complies with this requirement.
Age Verification at Checkout
You are required to verify your age before completing a purchase on ShopSnus.se. Age verification takes place as part of the checkout process. By completing your purchase, you confirm that you are 18 years of age or older.
We reserve the right to cancel any order if we have reasonable grounds to suspect that the customer is under 18 years of age, or that the order is intended for a person under 18.
It is not permitted to purchase products from ShopSnus.se on behalf of a person under the age of 18. This applies regardless of whether the purchase is made in person or through a third party, including a freight company acting on the customer's behalf.
Collection by Authorised Persons
All persons collecting an order from our premises — whether the customer personally or a freight company acting under a customer's authorisation — must be 18 years of age or older. HMU Trading AB reserves the right to refuse collection if there are reasonable grounds to suspect that the collecting person is under 18 or that the goods are intended for a minor.
Enforcement
ShopSnus.se operates an age verification system at checkout. In addition, we reserve the right to:
- Cancel an order at any point if we have grounds to believe it is being made by or for a person under 18
- Refuse collection if the collecting person cannot verify that they are 18 or older
- Report suspected violations to the relevant Swedish authorities
Breaches of the age restriction may be reported to the Swedish Public Health Agency (Folkhälsomyndigheten) and other relevant authorities.
